Youth Ministry

Who we are: Our vision is to continue steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine, in fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers (Acts 2:42), and to love and edify one another (1 Corinthians 14:26, 16:14). The WG youth consists of two groups: Junior High (6th - 8th grade)  and High School (9th - 12th grade).

Tuesday Nights: We meet upstairs in the Youth room after worship. We are going through the Old Testament book of Proverbs. This is a time of studying God’s Wordtogether, discussion, prayer, and fun/fellowship afterwards. All Youth (6-12th Grade) gather together on Tuesday Nights.

Saturday Nights: We meet upstairs in the Game room (6-8) and the Youth room (9-12) after worship. We are currently going through the book of Romans. The High School ministry (UNASHAMED) is led by Jason Wright and the Junior High ministry is led by Garett and Jacqueline Frisby. Both ministries break into prayer groups after the Bible study to lift up requests to the Lord.

Events and Activities: Apart from Tuesdays and Saturdays, we meet regularly for extra events and activities. Some of these include times of serving (convalescent ministry, bake sales, moving days), and some include times of strictly fun and fellowship (beach days, movie nights, pool parties, Boomers, “Crazy Fun Nights”)!
