JEREMY FOSTER

Jeremy grew up in Redlands, California. He received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 24 while alone at his house. Soon after, he felt called to serve in youth ministry in Anchorage, Alaska where he met his wife, Cheryl. Jeremy and Cheryl were then called to inner city Los Angeles where they ministered for the next three and a half years. While in Los Angeles, Daniel and Emily were added to their family.

Jeremy began serving with Worship Generation in the spring of 2002 when he and his family relocated to Orange County. During the following three years he became a key part of the Worship Generation Ministry when he also became the 7th Grade Biology Teacher at Calvary Chapel Junior High. When Worship Generation became its own church in 2005, Jeremy was called into the position of Assistant Pastor.

Over the next five years he served in this role while continuing in his position at Calvary Chapel Junior High, and as Surf Coach of the Calvary Chapel High School Surf Team between 2009 – 2011. During this same time, he and his wife Cheryl, along with their children, also took Mission trips to Europe, Nicaragua and England. In January 2011 Jeremy became the Associate Pastor of Worship Generation, and now serves Full Time in this position. Their youngest child, Micah was added to the family in the fall of 2011.

In Autumn of 2013 he made the commitment to become the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Calvary Chapel High School, a position he held through the 2016-2017 soccer season.  This provided many opportunities to reach out to other schools through the soccer program since CCHS is the only Christian school in it's league.  In the fall of 2016 Jeremy started teaching Freshman Bible at CCHS and enjoys the opportunity to share the Word with the next generation on a daily basis.

As Worship Generation goes forward in 2018 and continues to grow in its vision and outreach both locally and globally, Jeremy's role as Associate Pastor has increased in its opportunities and responsibilities.  The administration of the church, the organization and preparation of the services and hands on oversight of the many outreach facets of Worship Generation keep Jeremy busy and allow him to apply his strengths to the fullest benefit of the ministry.  As Pastor Joey and all WG share in the excitement, vision and opportunities of the US Olympic Surfing Program and Joey's personal involvement, Jeremy's role as Associate Pastor takes on greater significance and importance in ensuring that the church functions efficiently and fruitfully in all of its future ministry opportunities.
