GARETT FRISBY

The word that best decribes Garett Frisby is, Available. From the time that Garett gave his life to Jesus while in Junior High back in 1986, he has let God guide and direct his steps, steps that have ultimately led him to a Pastoral calling.

Back in the early 2000’s, Garett volunteered in the helps Ministry at Calvary Chapel Beachside. Through his service in this ministry, he met his future wife Jacqueline who he married in 2003. Over the next few years, Garett & Jacqueline would serve together in the College Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church in Bellflower, CA. During this time, they would also occasionally attend Worship Generation when it was still at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

From the start of Worship Generation as a church in Fountain Valley Ca., Garett along with Jacqueline and her daughters Jade & Haley, knew that they were called to bepart of the new work. By 2006, Garett was a deacon and overseeing the special events at Worship Generation, and then in 2007 served as a Deacon with the youth while overseeing the Junior High Ministry. Eventually Garett stepped into the role of Pastor, with his primary ministry being the Junior High, this he did faithfully through December 2010.

When Worship Generation Associate pastor Bryan Jameson stepped out to start the new church in Orange, CA it became clear that God was raising up Garett to serve the adult congregation of Worship Generation. Since 2010, Garett and Jacqueline have adopted 3 children, Nate, Eden, and Judah.  Through the years, Garett and Jacqueline have served with gracious hearts in a wide range of ministry needs. They have been and continue to be a huge blessing to the entire church family at Worship Generation.  Most recently, in the beginning of 2017, Garett became the Children's Ministry Pastor to lead the ministry that Matt Erickson previously led faithfully for over a decade at Worship Generation before moving to Vietnam.  Garett and Jacqueline love this new opportunity and continue to serve the Lord and the children of Worship Generation as we go forward in 2018.
