Hector Mora

College Pastor & Administrative Assistant at Worship Generation

Hector Mora grew up in Santa Fe Springs, Ca. In 2002, while Hector was working at Red Robin, his future wife Carol invited him to a Worship Generation Service at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Later that night, Hector went forward and received Jesus Christ into his life. Hector’s commitment to the Lord was strong and obvious to all, and by 2004 he went on his first mission trip to England with a Worship Generation team led by Scott Cunningham.

In 2005, he and Carol were married and became involved with a new church plant called Reality L.A.. They served in a variety of ministries at Reality L.A. under Pastor Tim Chaddick, but their primary ministries where Set-Up, Tear-Down, and oversight of Congregational needs. After two years at Reality L.A., Hector and Carol sensed the Lord stirring their hearts  to return to Worship Generation.

Shortly there after they were overseeing the College Ministry while also serving in numerous other capacities. Eventually in 2009, Hector stepped into the position of Pastor and by January 2010 became overseer of the High School Ministry. Later that year, Hector & Carol welcomed their baby girl Abigail Rose into the world on September 23, 2010. In June 2011, Hector transitioned from the High School Ministry back into College Ministry. He also serves as a Pastoral Administrative Assistant to Pastor’s Joey Buran and Jeremy Foster.
